  • About Project
  • The concept is to create a structure that shapes the spatial experience. There is a unique experience in each spot that is created through different coloured slabs that act as lenses. These lenses shape the exterior view when the light filters through them. The ground floor consists of public spaces, and the underground floor consists of private spaces.
  • Project Description
  • The structure is made out of glass, creating an artistic environment through light and the play of colours. The colours primarily used are red, blue, green and yellow, but the filtering of light produces different colours like purple, brown and more that are purely generated through the mixing of colours through light.

The ground floor consists mainly of public spaces, whereas the underground has private spaces. The auxiliary program is the maze; the programs, water pools and glass atriums with trees are scattered around the structure randomly to create an experience of randomness and confusion.

To bring maximum sunlight into the underground, the glass atriums were created to bring in light, and the trees provide privacy simultaneously. This brings in the liveliness. The skylights in each dorm space bring the experience of colours from the ground floor into the underground floor. The concept of randomness is continued by having different room sizes with varying numbers of bed spaces.
